Students will rise to the level of our expectations. When we expect our students to suceed or fail, it becomes a self-fufilling prophecy. A self-fufilling prophecy is a prediction that comes to past because of one's mindset. What teachers expect from their students - they get!

Facing the Giants

Don't let your students give up at the ten yard line (mediocre work). Tell them to reach for the fifty yard line (average work) and help hem to make it to the end zone (exceptional work). Help your students set a goal they think they can reach then help them them exceed that goal and realize their full potential.
